Building trust-first AI, where data privacy isn't optional
Our story (so far)

Askly was born from a simple, frustrating truth: getting answers from your own data is still too hard. After leading complex infrastructure and analytics projects for over 20 years, Ignacio Van Droogenbroeck realized that even with the right systems in place, the final step, turning questions into insights, remained a bottleneck.
Previously the founder of ExyData, a platform focused on serverless time-series analytics, Ignacio experienced firsthand how scattered data, clunky dashboards, and slow reporting workflows stood in the way of fast decisions. Askly is a direct response to that: a tool that makes talking to your data as easy as asking a question.
With deep roots in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS product development, and having worked across industries like IoT, finance, and public safety, Ignacio designed Askly to work across systems, securely, in real-time. No SQL. No dashboards. No handovers.
At its core, Askly reflects a vision for a smarter workplace: one where people don’t wait on reports, don’t need to ping data teams, and don’t wrestle with interfaces. They just ask, and get answers, from PostgreSQL, CRMs, spreadsheets, even ERPs, instantly and securely.
We’re still early, but our mission is clear: empower teams to move faster, make better decisions, and finally close the gap between data and action.
